Hailing from Andover MA, Tabitha Liversidge began her training at the Andover School of Ballet. She continued her training in the Jeannette Neill Dance Studio’s Boston Youth Moves program and was a member of the first BYM Company. In 2009, Tabitha received her BFA in Modern Dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. There she had the pleasure of performing works by Bob Fosse, Louis Johnson, Merrian Soto, Silvana Cardell, Brian Sanders, and Zane Booker, as well as being in the first college group to perform Martha Graham’s Panorama within a Graham Company program. She was a part of the University’s Choreography Emphasis Program and received the Dance Faculty Recognition Award for Excellence in Dance. Tabitha has attended dance workshops and festivals including Jacobs Pillow Dance Festival, Windhover Spreads its Wings (with Dusan Tynek Dance Theater), and The Limon Summer Workshop. She has been a member of the Windhover Dance Company (Rockport) performing works by Doris Humphrey. She currently dances with Deadfall Dance (Andover) and Urbanity Dance (Boston). She has taught ballet, modern and jazz on the north shore for several years. Tabitha is also a yoga fanatic and is currently practicing to be a 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher.
Rachel White began her training at the New Haven Ballet in Connecticut. She graduated high school from the prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem as a ballet major. Rachel also trained with the School of American Ballet, the Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Hartford Ballet before joining Boston Ballet’s BBII. After retiring from the stage, Rachel served on the faculty of both the School of Dance Connecticut (formally the School of the Hartford Ballet) and the city of Hartford’s Dance Program for City Youth. Rachel is an ABTŪ Certified Teacher, who has successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Partnering of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. She was certified in 2010 by the New York City Ballet as a trainer in the NYCB Workout. She is a certified member of Dance Masters of America and served on the Chapter’#5 New England’s Board of Directors from 2009-2011 and has taught for many other chapters throughout the country. Rachel is also an active member in the worldwide organization IADMS (International Association for Dance Medical Science) Rachel is a highly respected and in demand ballet teacher throughout New England and across the US. Currently, Rachel is pursuing Yoga Teacher Training and has developed a class solely geared for dancers. In addition to teaching, Rachel is an established adjudicator and has served on the panels for regional and national competitions throughout the United States and Canada.
Bryan Steele has been teaching in the Boston area for the past 18 years. He has been on the faculties of Boston Ballet, Walnut Hill School, and New Hampshire School of Ballet, to name just a few. Currently he is on the faculty at Dean College, Loperfido Dance Academy, and Dance Carousel. Bryan has taught master classes throughout the United States, Germany, Venezuela, France, Ecuador and Spain. Bryan has been choreographing for competitive groups and professional companies for over 20 years. He has won numerous awards on regional, national and international levels. He has self-produced 6 concerts of his own work in the Boston area. His dances have been set on Prometheus Dance Company, Company of Two, Wheaton College Dance Company, Boston Ballet, Walnut Hill, and other local companies. Bryan has recently retired from performing. Some of the companies he had the pleasure of dancing with are Prometheus, Impulse, Island Moving Company, Ariel Dance Theatre, Body Language Dancers, Boston Liturgical Dance Ensemble and many other independent choreographers. Bryan has also performed in hundreds of industrial shows, commercials and videos. Bryan has enjoyed bringing his knowledge and passion for dance to the competition world judging for CanDance, Olympic Miss and Dance Xplosion dance competitions. Bryan takes all his experience from the professional companies, commercial work, and master class teaching and brings this knowledge and love of the arts to his students.
