Before the 2020-2021 dance season begins, please review the following information regarding our updated in-studio protocol in regards to keeping all dancers, faculty and staff safe from COVID-19.
Our studio adheres to stringent cleaning protocols throughout our facility. Our studios, lobby, restrooms & all high touch surfaces will be thoroughly sanitized between classes and at the end of each day.
The ventilation in our facility has been updated with a hepafiltration system to improve the airflow circulation.
Please use our front door entrance to come into the studio. A mask must be worn as you enter and move about the studio (in the dressing room, to use the restroom, etc.). All Dancers are required to wear masks for the duration of class. Breaks will be given as needed maintaining 6 feet of separation.
We kindly ask that parents/guardians refrain from accompanying dancers into the studio. If you must enter to make a payment etc., we ask that you please wear a mask that safely covers your nose and mouth as well.
Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to class start time.
Waiting areas will be restricted. For dancers in our elementary classes and up, we will be requiring drop off only. If you are not comfortable leaving your child, we encourage you to wait in your car in our parking lot. For our creative movement classes, we encourage drop off only, however, one parent may be allowed inside if absolutely necessary. Please no siblings.
You will notice touchless hand sanitizer stations have been set up throughout the studio. Please use the one located in the front desk area upon entering. Additional stations located throughout the studio may be used as you see fit.
Please bring only essential dance supplies with you. This will allow for adequate social distancing in the dressing room area.
Upon entering dance studios, A and B, dancers will find all floors and barres marked to best allow for 6’ social distancing. Please be mindful of these boundaries and refer to your classroom teacher for additional instruction on spacing and class structure.
Dancers will be asked to please exit the building using our back door. If you are facing the building from the outside, this exit is to the left of the windows in Studio A. Please expect your dancer there for car pickup.
Lastly, we kindly ask that any dancer who is not feeling well or have a fever to please refrain from attending in-studio class.
Loperfido Dance Academy is taking every precaution to keep our staff and dancers safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Keeping children home when sick will be extremely important to manage virus transmission within our facility.
